Dr. Thrower is a graduate of the University of Miami School of Medicine and George Washington University Medical Center in Washington, DC. He is also a member of the Professional Team Physicians (a group of physicians of different specialties that treat professional athletes) and is one of the team physicians of the NBA’s Miami Heat.
