2. Who is Dr. Thrower?
A: Angelo P. Thrower, Medical Doctor, a specialist in Dermatology and Ethnic skin conditions. He has been in private practice for 17 years and is the creator of the
Dr. Thrower's Skin Care System. Dr. Thrower is a graduate of the University of Miami School of Medicine and George Washington University Medical Center in Washington, DC. He is also a member of the Professional Team Physicians (a group of physicians of different specialties that treat professional athletes) and is one of the team physicians of the NBA’s Miami Heat. In addition, Dr. Thrower is the author of the book Black Skin Care for the Practicing Professional and co-author of: Skin Care How to Save Your Skin and Basic Care for Naturally Textures Hair.
3. Why did Dr. Thrower develop a skin care line?
A. After researching the
issues that affect Ethnic skin and the treatment options available to
his patients, Dr. Thrower recognized a need for a product line that
addressed the specific conditions of Ethnic skin but would also be as
effective for non-Ethnic skin. He envisioned a system that would treat
an existing problem while maintaining or returning the patient’s skin to

resolved.
A: As an African-American himself, Dr. Thrower experienced a number of the problems common to African American skin during his younger years. When he graduated medical school, Dr. Thrower established a practice specifically to treat ethnic skin.
During the course of treating his patients, Dr. Thrower realized that the marketplace was void of an effective system to treat these problems and to maintain the skin once the problems had been remedied.

8. Can Dr. Thrower Skin products be used every day?
A: Yes! You can and should use the appropriate products every day to maintain healthy looking skin.
9. How do I determine my skin type?
A: Normal/Combination Skin: Skin is soft, smooth and there are few, if any, pimples or blackheads, and there is little or no discoloration. There are some pores, but they’re not noticeable.
A: Oily Skin: The pores are very visible; many of them may be quite large. The pores can fill with debris easily, which may cause frequent breakouts. Also, this type of skin has a lot of shine and is denser than other skin types.
A: Dry Skin: Skin is usually dehydrated or dry. It has a very matte finish because of an accumulation of dead skin cells. Peeling skin can be present, the skin tone can be “ashy”, and few, if any, pores can be seen. Skin is not supple and may be rough to the touch.

A: No, it has oxidized. Our products have greater than 2 year expiration.

A: Discontinue the product for three days. After the three days, you can restart using it every other day or as tolerated.
19. How do I apply the On the Spot Fade Treatment? With a cotton ball? or with my fingers?
A: You apply it with a cotton swab or a toothpick depending on the size of the spot.
20. Can I use the Skin Lightening Moisturizer on my body?
A: Yes.

A: Yes, but make sure to only apply it to the actual lesions.
